He looked up and then down, not entirely sure what he had witnessed. Quietly, he sat on the bench, talking as they had for years, yet not understanding a word.

Times had changed, and things were different between them now. No longer an innocent boy, now a heroic man who knew he was right but not what was right. So he waited for the old man to tell him.
